assetsecure specialist insurance GmbH was founded in 2022, in Hamburg, Germany, and is a highly specialised and independent boutique Managing General Agent, that is fully committed to providing niche marine insurance products e.g. Marine Kidnap for Ransom, WAR Risks and very soon, also Hull & Machinery etc.
What are we looking for:
We are looking for a client-focused Marine Underwriter, responsible for underwriting new and renewal business, along with account servicing. You will ideally thrive in a high-volume atmosphere, meeting the needs of agents, and achieving company goals with integrity and respect.
What we expect:
Have industry related experience, preferably with another MGA or potentially an insurance broker
Have the ability to independently develop new business and opportinities
Familiar with MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
Strong verbal and written communication skills & very good written and spoken English (German is a plus)
Be highly organized but also flexible to changes in processes and procedures.
