Insurance Administration & Invoicing Specialist (m/f/d) – full or part-time possible

assetsecure specialist insurance GmbH was founded in 2022 in Hamburg, Germany, and is a highly specialised, independent boutique Managing General Agent, fully committed to providing niche marine insurance products, e.g. Marine Kidnap for Ransom, War Risks and, very soon, Hull & Machinery.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for a reliable and well-organised team member to support our insurance administration and billing. You will prepare premium invoices, credit notes and policy documents, keep policy, client and vessel data accurate, and work closely with our finance team, brokers and capacity providers. You will ideally enjoy working with numbers, keep an overview of many tasks at once, and take pride in getting the details right.

What we expect:

• Completed commercial vocational training (kaufmännische Ausbildung) is great but not required
• Experience in administration, invoicing or contract management
• A careful, structured and reliable way of working
• Confidence with numbers and digital tools, especially MS Office
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to take ownership and to ask when something is unclear

Knowledge of marine insurance is a plus, but certainly not required. We will give you a thorough introduction to our products, processes and systems.

Marine Underwriter (m/f/d) - full or part-time possible

assetsecure specialist insurance GmbH was founded in 2022, in Hamburg, Germany, and is a highly specialised and independent boutique Managing General Agent, that is fully committed to providing niche marine insurance products e.g. Marine Kidnap for Ransom, WAR Risks and very soon, also Hull & Machinery etc.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for a client-focused Underwriter, responsible for underwriting new and renewal business for our different insurance lines, along with the day-to-day account servicing. You will ideally thrive in a high-volume atmosphere, meeting the needs of clients & our capacity providers alike, and also achieving company goals with integrity and respect.

What we expect:

• Have industry related experience, preferably with another MGA or potentially an insurance broker
• Have the ability to independently develop new business and opportinities within the maritime industry
• Familiar with MS Office applications, especially Teams, Excel, Powerpoint and Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills & very good written and spoken English (German is a plus)
• Be highly organized but also flexible to changes in processes and procedures.
